DAI Asset Management (“DAI-AM”) joins IFC-led syndication of a $40M loan to Brazil’s Omni S.A Crédito, Financiamento e Investimento with a $10M investment for its own account. This facility seeks to expand access to vehicle and microfinance credit for self-employed truck drivers, immigrants, refugees, and microentrepreneurs in Brazil’s low-income, underserved peri-urban and remote areas. The investment will provide Omni with a greater capacity to assist existing and new clients, thus supporting the private sector’s recovery in the wake of the pandemic.
